Unconference for Sustainability Professionals / 17:00 – 21:30

18.09.2019 17:00 - 21:30
WWF Schweiz
Address: Hohlstrasse 110, 8004 Zürich, Switzerland

Companies can differentiate themselves to their investors and customers by setting ambitious sustainability goals. Yet, sustainability professionals within organisations often face frustrating barriers to implementing sustainability initiatives within their organisations.

This workshop will take place in the proven format of an ‘Unconference’. The specific discussion topics will be determined by the participants at the beginning of the meeting, based on real cases and experiences.

Relevant questions may include such topics as: How can upper management be convinced to integrate sustainability into a company’s core business? How can we identify the ‘low hanging fruits’ that can be plucked to achieve the greatest impact in our organisations? How can sustainability measures be integrated into an organisation’s financial metrics? What can sustainability professionals do to get their companies to align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals? How can we collaborate across sectors to advance our company’s sustainability agenda?

Who is it for?

  • Sustainability managers
  • C-level professionals who want to understand the barriers to the implementation of sustainability measures in their companies
  • Behavioural psychology and behavioural economy researchers
